Discourse with an Elder

I have made my views known. Having heeded the call of my Savior (Revelation 18:4), I have come out of Mystery Babylon. As I expected, orthodox Christendom has a problem with my belief in a God Who will accomplish His goal. They insist that I should believe the myths and man-made doctrines that are preached every Sunday.

I expressed my views to a dear friend and brother in Christ who is an Elder in the Primitive Baptist Church. He responded: "I want you to know that what you have come to believe grieves me greatly, especially the idea that God is going to save all men, a thing which is totally foreign to the entire tenor of the word of God".

I wonder if my friend has ever read these two verses: Acts 3:20, 21 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. God's prophets have been speaking about the "good news" since the beginning of the world; but, that Christ will save all is foreign to the entire tenor of God's word? Something is not right. Take this journey with me. Let us look at what God's word says!

Paul was shown what the future held. He saw far beyond what John unveils in Revelation. To Paul was granted the understanding of the end result, the goal. Paul lays it out beautifully in 1 Corinthians 15, but I will just quote verse 28 here. And when the all things may be subjected to him, then the Son also himself shall be subject to Him, who did subject to him the all things, that God may be the all in all. (Young's Literal) Simply put, all enemies are vanquished. Death and sin are no where to be found. All enmity in the world is gone. Everyone who ever lived is reconciled, saved, justified, and vivified! (Read the post on Paul's Evangel) The end result is God is all in all!

Genesis 2:17 and of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou dost not eat of it, for in the day of thine eating of it--dying thou dost die.' (Young's Literal) Did God warn our first parents that eating of the tree would earn them an eternity in Hell fire? No, God never mentioned such a thing. He simply said they would be dying; the penalty was death. God's word tells us what the penalty of sin actually is! It is death. Romans 6:23a. for the wages of the sin is death... (Young's Literal) Another translation reads: Romans 6:23a.  For the ration of Sin is death... (Concordant Literal). No mention of hell. (Read my post on hell)

Now that we see the ration of sin is death, let us explore the superexceeding grace of our God and our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus!

Isaiah 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Not in fear or repression but thanksgiving and wonder.

Psalms 66:4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

Psalms 90:3 Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

Deuteronomy 32:39 ... I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

Lamentations 3:31, 32 For the Lord will not cast off for ever: But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

Psalms 138:4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

Psalms 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

Psalms 65:3 Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.

Ezekiel 16:55 When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate. What? According to the KJV, Sodom is burning for ever and ever?

Psalms 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Psalms 145:9, 10 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Jeremiah 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.  It never entered God's mind to do such a thing as burn his children!

1 Timothy 2:3, 4 for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

Romans 11:26, 27 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. This includes all of the Jews who rejected their Christ. All means all!

Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

John 4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

  John 1:29 on the morrow John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, `Lo, the Lamb of God, who is taking away the sin of the world;

1 John 4:14  And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world

Romans 5:15-21 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Romans 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Acts 3:20,21 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Ephesians 2:7-9 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Mark 9:49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

Romans 11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Romans 5:18, 19 (Justification of all)  Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. (KJV)

1 Corinthians 15:22-24 (Vivification of all)  For since in fact, through a man came death, through a Man, also, comes the resurrection of the dead. For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, all in Christ, shall be vivified. Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ's in his presence; thereafter the consummation, whenever he may be giving up the kingdom to his God and Father, whenever he should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power. (Concordant Literal)

1st Timothy 2:4  Who wills that all mankind be saved and come into the realization of the truth. (Concordant Literal)

1st Timothy 4:10, 11 (Salvation for all)  For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, specially of those that believe. These things command and teach. (KJV)

Orthodoxy does not teach these things, they teach the lie that Jesus cannot or will not save all men and that most will burn in a fictitious hell forever!

Colossians 1:20 (Reconciliation of all)  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. (KJV) Does the reconciliation process involve judgment, chastisement, and correction? Yes, of course. We must be purged. The bad qualities must be refined, we must all be purified. Matthew 3:11b he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Young's Literal) Torture sinners forever? Not on your life, it never entered into His mind!

Do you believe the bible or do you believe the false teachers in the pulpits? Why would you believe the doctrines of man over what the bible teaches? Any thoughts on the tenor of the Word of God?

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (KJV)

Grace be with you!
